This is being implemented to reduce risk to patients, our health professionals, the spread of Coronavirus in the community and enable the service remain open and continue to provide quality healthcare services to patients.
Currently our team at Call The Doctor is reducing pressure on Tasmanian Ambulance service and Royal Hobart Hospital.

Our continuous improvement journey:
Call The Doctor would like to thank those that took the time to complete our Service Feedback Survey. Overall the results were positive with some good suggestions for areas of improvement.
We would like to tell you about some of the changes we have made as a direct result of the feedback we received.
Areas of Improvement:
- We have reviewed and implemented a new process for confirming bookings upon the feedback and updated our process for confirmation of bookings at the time of booking including introducing our new App for booking.
- We have reviewed and implemented additional training for clinician communication with patients.

- Staffing has been increased during peak times to minimise wait times on the phone. From time to time, we may have extended waits so we ask for your patience.
We are always delighted to receive compliments and will do our best to address your concerns. The results of these surveys assist us provide the best possible service to you.
